A place in Reno’s history.
Fifty South Virginia is a reimagined retail and business workspace in the heart of Reno, Nevada. Formerly the Reno-Main Post Office, it was designed in Art Deco Moderne style by Nevada’s preeminent architect, Frederic J. DeLongchamps, and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
In August 2012, ownership was transferred to a local development group. The group revived several of the architectural designs lost over the years. In an effort to share the wonder of this historical monument, and to continue the city’s rise in prosperity, Fifty South Virginia has been repurposed for a revived Reno. Prime business leasing space is offered to companies sharing in the city’s move toward sustainable development and cultural revival.
